A veteran columnist in the Arizona Republic bashed Lake and her fantasy that she is the governor.

The failed Donald Trump-endorsed candidate lost the governor's race. Despite losing election appeals and a lawsuit, she continues to refer to herself as the " duly elected governor of Arizona".

In his column Friday, writer EJ Montini said that if Lake is a governor, it would be the governor of the movies. Lake is in a fanciful fantasy of her own creation. Montini noted that it wasn't clear if she really buys the fantasy or is just pretending she does.

She seems to have fallen under the spell of the enraptured proselytes who populate the former president's conspiracy-driven Shangrilytes when she visited Mar-a-Lago.

She learned that you can say you won an election even if you don't win.

Montini said that the lake used to reside in the real world. Now, but no more.

Alice woke up and went away. Montini wrote that the woman from Oz returned to Kansas.

That's not Kari.

Crazy town. Kari Lake calls herself “the duly elected governor” of Arizona. Note: She lost her election lawsuit, and her opponent was already sworn in. In other news: I’m the king of England. (Video: Real America’s Voice) pic.twitter.com/FlR0B6iKcL
