Unistellar-eQuinox-2-CES-1

There is no easy way to use a telescope in the night sky.

I had a telescope when I was a teenager. When I was an adult, I didn't have time to do astronomy. "With a friend of mine, we began to think about what we could do to bring astronomy back to our busy daily lives." We came up with a telescope that is easy to use, powerful enough to see through the light pollution, and has the ability to reveal things that we couldn't see when we were teenagers. The aim is to bring a lot of the power that professionals have in astronomy into the daily lives of consumers who just want to have fun.

There is a good looking kit. The image is from Unistellar.

The telescope doesn't have an eyepiece, so you have to use the app to control it. The app knows about more than 5,000 objects in the sky and uses the phone's gps to find them. It looks at the stars and points out where it is looking.

Pre-sales for the eQuinox 2 smart telescope are available now, and it will be available next month.
