According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Hurts will start at quarterback for the Eagles against the Giants on Sunday.

Jalen Hurts will start at QB for the #Eagles on Sunday vs. the N.Y. Giants, NFL sources said.Not a huge surprise.

Hurts (right shoulder) was listed as questionable on Friday after being a limited participant at practice all week. He missed the previous two games.

Over the first 14 games of the season, the third-year pro out of Alabama and Oklahoma had 35 touchdown passes, 13 rushing and 3,472 passing yards. Hurts turned the ball over seven times despite his huge usage.

The Eagles' 13-1 record is the best in the league.

Hurts injured his shoulder in the win over the Bears.

He didn't play in the next two games, losses to the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints.

While Hurts was out, Minshew took over and struggled, completing 58.3% of his passes for 622 yards, three touchdown and three turnovers.

The team's final regular-season game was against the Giants.

On the injury report, Hurts was listed as questionable for the game, despite being a limited practice participant all week. A.J. Brown spoke to reporters on Thursday.

Hurts wastrending in the right direction, according to the head coach.

Hurts is back in the running for the Eagles' quarterback position.

The Eagles will earn the top seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs if they beat the Giants on Sunday.

According to Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post, the Giants are expected to rest key players in order to get ready for the playoffs. The Giants were beaten 48-22 by Philadelphia.

The heavy favorites will charge ahead with Hurts under center as the team looks for the conference's top seed and some positive vibes going into the playoffs.
