The congressman accused the Democrats of being drunk on the House floor during the chaos over the speaker vote. We want to fight each other. The popcorn and blankets have made it clear that there is a lot going on over there.

After the 14th failed vote for speaker, there may have been a fair amount of drinking on cammack's own side, which resulted in a physical fight on the House Floor.

Kevin McCarthy narrowly won the 15th vote late Friday night by capitulating to far-right insurrectionists in his party. After four days of in-fighting and general humilation, the vote was held. Rogers lunged at Gaetz over his opposition to McCarthy and had to be restrained.

The congressman who was in the middle of the altercation had some choice words for Rogers in an interview with CNN. "People shouldn't be drinking, especially when they're rednecks." Oh my!

He would be dropped like a bag of dirt. Nobody is going to hold my hand. No one is going to threaten me.

McCarthy said nothing when reporters asked about the incident.

The 118th Congress was held.
