Welcome offer of 40-45K points

After spending $2,000 on the Amex Green Card in the first six months, the card will give you 40,000 or 45,000 Amex points. Depending on how they open the application link, different people seem to have different offers.

It will take a long time to complete the requirements. The bonus is worth up to $775 based on my valuation.

3x points on dining

3x points can be earned on dining at restaurants around the world. To me, 1.7 cents is like a 5.1% return in that category.

The Amex Green is one of the best cards for eating out.

3x points on travel & transit

The Amex Green Card gives 3x points on all travel and transit purchases. The Amex Green Card is the most well-rounded Amex card for travel purchases.

This point is not appreciated. You can add an authorized user to the card without paying an additional fee.

You can earn 3x points on your own dining, travel, and transit, but you can also earn points for spending it on your family members.

You can get 3x points on dining and travel on the Amex Green Card but you will have to pay $75 per authorized user on the Chase Reserve Card.

No foreign transaction fees

There are no foreign transaction fees on the Amex green card. Several other Amex cards have foreign transaction fees. You can earn 3x points on dining and travel if you don't pay foreign transaction fees. Spending big when categories are outside.

CLEAR is a seperate program that can add a lot of value. Being a CLEAR member will allow you to skip the ID check at the security checkpoint and be brought into the queue.

The Clear credit on the Amex Green Card is up to $189. CLEAR costs just $119 a year if you are a member of Delta SkyMiles or United Mileage Plus. If you add someone else to your account for $50 a year, you'll be able to cover two people.

LoungeBuddy credit can be used to purchase access to lounges if you have the Amex Green Card. You can easily get a few lounge visits a year.

Access to Amex Offers

The amazing value of Amex offers is one of the reasons to keep your Amex cards. You can earn bonus points with all of the retailers.

You might be eligible for more offers if you have more Amex cards. Amex offers are more than enough to justify the annual fees on some of my cards.

Anecdotally easy approval

People are worried if they will be approved for a new card. Amex cards, including the Amex Green, are among the easiest to be approved for for people with excellent credit. The general application rules should not be too restrictive.

The Amex Green Card offers 3x points on dining, travel, and transit, making it one of my favorite Amex cards to use. The card has a $150 annual fee but offers up to $300 in annual credits which can help offset that. I have a card that I get quite a bit of value out of.

It is difficult to beat the value of the Amex Green Card if you spend a lot on dining and travel.
