On February 1st, the company is expected to announce its new lineup of phones, according to the leaked images on the company's website. The announcement is no longer live on the site, but it was up long enough to give us an idea about when the next Unpacked event will be, and to show that we are in for a treat.

The site didn't specifically say that the S23 lineup would be announced at the event, but it's almost certain that the flagship traditional phones will be announced around this time of year. The page showed a three-camera array, similar to the one on the S22 lineup, but without the raised bumps that are present on the S22 and S22 Plus.

It's hard to say what features we'll see announced in February, the S23s don't seem to have leaked as much as the S22s, but renders and leaked images show a design that's pretty similar to the S22s. There are rumors that the S23 Ultra will have a bigger camera than the S20 series, which has a smaller one. In most countries, the phones will be powered by the same processor as in the US.

I am keeping an eye out for whether or not the company will mention the satellite. The feature Apple introduced with the iPhone 14 allows emergency texting without the need for a cell signal. It will be interesting to see if the S23 can talk to satellites, since it will be one of the first high-end phones this year. I likely won't have to wait long to find out.
