The opening keynote of the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show was hosted by BMW and featured the i Vision Dee concept. KITT and Arnold Schwarzenegger were among the sidekicks who came out on the stage.

The show floor was shared by automotive giants such as BMW, as well as auto tech firms, such as Zero Labs, and tier two suppliers. Sony Honda Mobility and its new car brand, Afeela, would have sounded like a Gran Turismo exclusive a few years back.

The future of the traditional car show is in question with more car news this week than the dedicated LA auto show. A clearer picture of how they will work together and how they will need each other was provided by this event.

Here are the highlights from the Consumer Electronics Show.

The Sony Honda Mobility is called Afeela.

Three years after Sony surprised attendees of the Consumer Electronics Show with its first concept car, the company now has a manufacturing partner in the form of Honda, and a brand name called Afeela. The first model of Afeela will be available to pre-order in the US in the first half of the 20th century.

The car on show has 45 sensors, a digital display on the front bumper, and 3D graphics made using the Unreal Engine. According to reports, the first Afeela car will be powered by a new car platform that integrates driver assistance and self-driving technology. The car brands will use the same thing.

I Vision Dee.

BMW showed off a concept car that can change its color in a matter of seconds. The panels that cover the body are similar to the screens on your ebook reader. The prototype has up to 32 colors and can be used to create graduated patterns.

BMW hopes that the future of head-up display technology will be found inside the i Vision Dee. Replacing a conventional dashboard display with an interface projected on the entire windshield, the driver can pick from a simple, shallow band of driving and vehicle info, up to the entire screen showing a virtual world.

The car, a sporty and compact three-box design that we would love to see BMW put into production, also debuts a new voice assistant system called Dee. This could be more difficult to bring to production than the metaverse windshield or the e-ink paint.

VW ID.7

The traditional approach was taken by VW. The ID.Aero concept has been renamed the ID.7 due to go into production soon. The exterior is covered with a color-changing, illuminated, and electric paint.

BMW has a new augmented head-up display, but the interior of the car has a large 15-inch display. An updated climate control system that starts to heat or cool as the driver approaches, and automatically adjusts air-flow direction to reach target temperature more quickly is one of the new features.

The ID.7 now shows air-conditioning controls on the home screen of the infotainment system, and illumination has been added to touch-sensitive temperature sliders. Finally, it's time.

Volkswagen says the ID.7 will be in the middle of the high-volume segment.

There is a 500-Mile Concept by the PSA.

The Inception is more than 16 feet long and is a demonstration of how the STLA Large electric car platform can fit larger vehicles. The car is fitted with a big 100kWh battery pack that is said to be good for 500 miles.

The total output of the battery and electric motor is claimed to be over 700hp. The car can travel 93 miles of range in five minutes, thanks to an 800-volt architecture.

All of the statistics need to be taken with a pinch of salt since this is just a concept. Peogeot says the concept's design will inspire future vehicles from the year 2025.

The concept vibes continue with a rectangular steering wheel and touch-sensitive controls beneath the driver's thumbs.

There is a chip made by Qualcomm called the digital chip.

The theme of this year's Consumer Electronics Show was how technology firms and automakers need to work more closely together. The clearest example of this was provided by the company that makes the bestSmartphoneProcessors.

The system is intended to be used by automakers and their component suppliers as a comprehensive platform that includes everything from connected cars to driver assistance.

According to the company, the platform is open,Scalable, and upgradeable in order to appeal to as many car manufacturers as possible. The system can be personalized and 888-492-0 888-492-0 888-492-0 888-492-0 888-492-0 888-492-0ed throughout the vehicle's lifetime.

The new processor for cars was designed to work with driver-assistance systems.

The heat belt of the car.

EV drivers will tell you that it is more energy efficient to use a car's heated seats than it is to blast warm air into the cabin.

The Heat Belt is said to sip just 70 watt of energy to reach a surface temperature of 40 degrees centigrade with wires woven into its fabric.

When used with a heated steering wheel and seat, the belt could increase the electric car's range by up to 15 percent.

A car.

There was a fleet of cars demonstrating Holoride at the booth that AUDI had on the show floor at the Consumer Electronics Show. This tech was on display at last year's Mobile World Congress. The answer to the age-old question of "Are we there yet?" is coming from the back of the car.

A virtual world that mimics the movement of the vehicle is created when the system is connected to the car. A virtual reality experience that brings a fantasy world to the journey has been created by AUDI. As the car stops at a pedestrian crossing in the real world, the vehicle stops in the virtual reality so the little chickens can pass The wearer gets points for each chicken they point at a controller.

The EV Charge Network is a competitor to Mercedes-Benz.

The Mercedes-Benz electric car charging network will have over 10,000 active charge points by the end of the decade. The network is designed to charge EV from manufacturers across the US, Europe, and China, with other markets to follow.

When the charge network is finished in North America, it will have more than 2,500 charging points at 400 stations. When creating a route, the navigation system of Mercedes cars will include a charging station, as well as a reservation system, which will allow you to book a charging station at your estimated time of arrival.
