Sometimes you may want something a little less tactical looking for your daily knife carry, but you don't want to give up the convenience of a pocket clip and easy single-handed operation, both of which traditional slipjoints lack. For this week's Folder Friday, we take a look at a liner-locking alternative from the brand synonymous with Swiss Army Knives: the Victorinox Sentinel Clip. A thumbhole integrated into its 3.375" blade offers easy one-handed deployment, and an accessible liner lock makes the blade just as easy to retract. Textured polyamide scales are a departure from the usual red plastic (Cellidor) of their smaller models, and combine with a contoured handle shape to provide a comfortable grip during use. And like its smaller brethren, the handles tuck away handy tweezers and a toothpick should the need arise. The integrated pocket clip plus the 2.75 ounce weight make this a light and easy knife to pocket carry, or tuck away in your pack. Classy looks and reliable performance make for a stylish and sophisticated EDC knife. Check out the Victorinox Sentinel Clip at the link below.
