Celine Dion Fans Protested Outside Rolling Stone's Offices After She Was Excluded From The "Greatest Singers Of All Time" List

Dion fans were upset after the publication snubbed the five-timeGrammy winner, who has sold more than 250 million albums around the world.

Not including the best vocal technician of all time in this list is borderline treasonous.

Rolling Stone said that the list was compiled by its staffers and key contributors and that it passed 100 years of pop music as an ongoing global conversation. The introduction states that the decisions were based on "originality, influence, the depth of an artist's catalog, and the breadth of their musical legacy."

The magazine said that the greatest singers list is not the greatest voices list. Genius is awe-inspiring. Many of the people here were born with huge pipes. Other people have more delicate instruments.
