Act fast: Discounted round-trip flights to Paris, starting at $399

Paris is always a good place to live. Most of the round-trip fares for the City of Light are between $400 and $500.

For most of the year, flights are available.

Deal basics

Air Canada, United, and others are airlines. There are routes from Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Minneapolis, Miami, Seattle and other cities. If you want to book directly with the airline, you have to use the search feature on the flights website. January through November is the best time to travel. This deal is currently being booked and prices have increased above what is advertised.

You can book an Air Canada flight departing from LGA in March for just under $500 round-trip.

The basic economy class is the most restrictive class. You have to pay for seat selection in most basic economy fares. Air Canada gives you a carry-on item, as well as other airlines.

I flew a low-cost airline from LA to Paris, but wouldn't do it again.

The cheapest fares for the majority of these routes are with TAP Air Portugal's discount economy fare which is non-refundable but can be changed for a $286 fee. One personal item and one carry on item are included in these fares.
