"It's moving in the right direction" for Hurts to start against the Giants, according to Nick Sirianni.

"We feel good about it, but we have to see how it goes," he said.

Hurts has missed the past two games due to a shoulder injury. He was listed as a limited participant in the Thursday practice but his workload increased.

A.J. Brown said Hurts was working with the first team.

Brown said that Hurts' throws looked good. I think he'll be fine on Sunday, he's still crafting, but he's knocked the rust off.

In the portion of practice open to reporters, Hurts had decent speed on his throws, including when he was asked to throw across his body.

A win by the Eagles on Sunday will give them the top seed in the playoffs.

The Eagles had a chance to get a first-round bye with a win over either the Saints or Cowboys. After dropping both with Minshew starting, it now comes down to the final game against New York.
