Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Virgin Voyages, and Celebrity Cruises are some of the lines that will unveil new ships.

MSC World Europa

The voyage will take place on December 20, 2022.

MSC CRUISES

The new ship is almost as big as Royal Caribbean's Oasis-class vessels, and that is a big deal.

This is the first time in the 13-year history of the record-breaking Oasis-class series that a ship has come close to the Royal Caribbean ships. There is a new option for cruisers who love being on the largest vessels.

It is the first of at least four sister vessels that the company plans to unveil over the next few years.

It's the beginning of a new battle of the megaships.

The five Oasis-class ships are about 4% to 8% smaller than the WorldEuropa. It's even larger by one measure. The Oasis-class vessels are three decks lower than the WorldEuropa.

Similar to the Oasis-class ships, it can hold nearly 7,000 passengers with all berths filled.

Pick the right cruise for you.

Royal Caribbean has a model for breaking down the public areas of its ships into districts. The Zen district is for adults and the family district is for kids. Shops and bars can be found in the central interior promenade.

It is one of the most pool-covered ships at sea. Virtual reality technology is integrated into multiple waterslides. There is a family outdoors.

The new-for-the-line Chef's Garden Kitchen and La Pescaderia are two of the 13 dining venues. Each of the three buffet restaurants has its own vibe.

The Masters of the Sea Pub is an English style pub that serves beer. The gin bar is a first for the cruise line.

If all goes according to plan, the 4,810-passenger MSC Euribia will debut in June of next year. It will be one of the largest cruise ships in the world at around 182,000 tons.

The first new vessel in more than a decade is going to be unveiled by the upscale line in 2023.

Vista will be a tad larger than the last two new ships. The "space ratio" of space per passenger will be higher due to fewer passengers.

The space ratio of a ship is used to measure how upscale it is.

The intimate, residential-style interior venues for which the ships are known will be an "evolution" of the decor. There is a casino with an accompanying bar, a martini bar, Aquamar Spa, a tranquil pool area, and a Grand Lounge that serves as a central meeting point.

The largest standard balcony cabins in the industry are , which is the largest standard balcony cabins in the industry.

Vista will be the first of its kind in the area with built-from-scratch solo cabins. It's rare for solo cabins on ocean ships to have their own balconies.

Every cabin onVista will have either a full balcony or a limited French balcony. There will be no balcony or windowless cabins on the ship.

The solo cabins come with access to a private concierge lounge and complimentary use of the ship's spa terrace.

Four of the new concepts for the brand will be new for the brand.

Aquamar Kitchen and Ember are new to the scene and serve innovative American cuisine with a focus on wellbeing. There will be a new bakery at Barista that will serve fresh-baked pastries and a new dining room with an ocean view.

The line's signature Polo Grill steakhouse, Italian-inspired Toscana and upscale Asian outlet Red ginger will be on the ship.

The Allura class will include the first of two sister vessels. The second ship in the series is expected to come online in the year 2025.

After sailing in Europe, Vista will move to North America. The price for a seven-night Caribbean voyage out of Miami is not including taxes or fees.

Resilient Lady

May 14th is the maiden voyage.

Resilient Lady will be a sister to Scarlet Lady, which was completed in 2020. VIRGIN VOYAGES

It will look familiar to anyone who has sailed on the brand's first two vessels.

The 2,770-passenger ship was originally scheduled to debut in 2022, but was delayed by nearly a year.

Resilient Lady is designed to shake up the cruise industry with a new style of cruising. There will be tattoo parlors, karaoke lounges, and even a Lizzo lounge on the ship. It will be a kid-free travel zone with a minimum age to sail at 18.

Is Virgin voyages for you? Our thought.

Travelers who think they're too cool to go on a cruise ship will be targeted by Virgin. No big Broadway-style theater shows, no buffets, and no dress codes will be offered at Resilient Lady. There will be DJ sets, interactive dance parties, and late night games of dodgeball. There will be rock star themed suites.

The fourth vessel in the series is called Brilliant Lady.

After sailing in the Mediterranean, Resilient Lady will head to Australia for the winter. The cost for a two-night voyage out of Australia is $450 per person.

Explora 1

The voyage took place on July 17th.

It's the largest new cruise ship of the year. Explora 1 will be the debut of Explora Journeys, a new luxury line that could quickly become one of the biggest in the world.

Explora Journeys plans to launch at least six superluxurious vessels by the year 2028, each of which will hold at least 922 passengers.

In a few years, that will give the line a bigger capacity than other luxury cruise operators.

In the upscale cruise space, Explora Journeys will compete with lines like Crystal, Silversea Cruises, and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. It will be run by its sister brand, which caters to a mass market audience.

The first photos of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collections are related.

Explora 1 will feature oceanfront suites, penthouses and residences designed to be "homes at sea," and it will be packed with upscale amenities. There will be 10 distinct cuisines, 10 indoor and outdoor bars and lounges, four swimming pools, outdoor deck areas with private cabanas, and entertainment.

The Mediterranean Shipping Company is a part of the group. It is the largest container shipping company in the world.

Silver Nova

August 14th is the maiden voyage.

An artist’s rendering of Silver Nova. SILVERSEA CRUISES

The new ship for Silversea Cruises will be larger than its predecessors and will be asymmetrical in many areas. The layout of the main pool area will be off-center, which is unusual for a cruise ship.

The main pool area of Silver Nova will have an orientation that runs from the port side of the ship to the starboard side. The pool will be off-center in the space, skewed far to the starboard side of the ship, with rows of lounge chairs and a grand entrance on its port side.

The idea is that the pool area will be more oriented towards the destinations that the ship visits, or the open ocean when it is at sea, than other cruise vessels. Passengers will be able to float in the pool and see the water from the lounge chairs.

There are five destinations you can visit on a Silversea ship.

Two new food and beverage venues will be visible at the top of the vessel.

The first venue will be an alfresco dining venue that is off-center with a view of the sea from the port side. The Grill will be double as the ship's Spaccanapoli pizza outlet. The second venue will be an open-air sky bar at the back of the vessel that is positioned on the port side of the ship.

There will be versions of Silversea's main signature restaurant, La Terrazza, as well as French eatery La Dame and seafood eatery Atlantide.

One thing that will be noticeable about Silver Nova is its large area. The ship will be 34% larger than the line's last three new vessels. About 22% more passengers will be held by it. The space available for passengers will increase.

The Silver Nova will sail with 728 passengers, just 132 more than the previous vessels.

Silversea has been able to add more large suites on the ship due to the extra space. Every cabin on the ship will be a suite. The Otium Suite is a 1,324- square-foot complex that is new to Silversea. The Otium Suite is located in a premium corner position of the ship and features floor-to-ceiling windows. The most spacious part of the ship is the 431- square-foot balcony area.

The cabins on Silver Nova are large enough for a cruise ship cabin.

After sailing in the Mediterranean, Silver Nova will move to the Caribbean for the winter of 2020. A seven-night Caribbean sailing out of Miami starts at $4,700 per person, with a flight credit, airport transfers and shore excursions included.

Norwegian Viva

August 26th is the maiden voyage.

The second ship in the series, Norwegian Viva, will arrive in 2023, continuing the roll out of the new class of ships.

Norwegian Viva is smaller than other vessels the line has added in the last few years and will allow it to access smaller ports around the world. Norwegian Viva has a go-kart track that occupies three decks and is similar to Norwegian Prima.

The new class is called the Prima class.

The Drop is a 10-story dry slide that Norwegian claims offers more G-force than a race car. A three-deck theater that converts into a Las Vegas-style nightclub will be located on the vessel.

Norwegian Viva will be more than just a bunch of things to do. The continuation of a more upscale turn is what the line began with. The largest three bedroom suites of any new cruise vessel will be offered by Norwegian Viva. The cabins on Norwegian Viva will be larger than they have been in the past.

There was a strange night out at the bar.

Norwegian Viva will have more pool deck space than any other ship in the brand's fleet, as well as the most outdoor deck space of any new ship.

After sailing in the Mediterranean, Norwegian Viva will move to the Caribbean for the winter of 2020. A seven-night Caribbean sailing out of Miami starts at $849 per person.

Carnival Jubilee

October 30th is the voyage's maiden voyage.

Carnival Jubilee will be a sister to the recently unveiled Carnival Celebration. CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE

Carnival Jubilee will be the third ship in the new excel-class series and will be larger than the previous two.

The 15-deck high ship is a sister to the line's recently unveiled Carnival Celebration, which have made waves in the past 18 months for their huge size and what may be the most unusual attraction ever on a cruise vessel.

The largest ship ever to sail for Carnival will be Carnival Jubilee, which will measure 181,808 tons, putting it in a tie with the previous ships. The two earlier vessels in the series are larger than the next-biggest Carnival ships currently afloat, and they are also larger than all but one other cruise vessels in the world.

There will be a roller coaster on the top deck. It will be similar to the roller coasters on its sister vessels, with an 800-foot-long track and vehicles that reach speeds of 40 mph.

The carnival will be able to hold up to 6, 630 passengers. The world's largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas, can hold 7,064 passengers.

There is a guide to Carnival Cruise Line.

Like its sister, Carnival Jubilee will have a giant water park on its top deck and a wide range of suites. The vessel won't be like the previous ones. Some new features are in the works.

The development of Carnival Jubilee and its sisters has been a big deal for the company. The line had resisted the trend among major brands to build even bigger vessels that offer a megaresort at sea experience.

Carnival's last new vessel before the arrival of Mardi Gras in 2021, Carnival Panorama, didn't crack the top 40 list of biggest ships when it debut in 2019.

Carnival Jubilee will sail seven nights from Texas to the Western Caribbean. Taxes and fees are not included in the fares.

Seven Seas Grandeur

The voyage was a maiden one.

Seven Seas Grandeur will be a sister vessel to Seven Seas Splendor. REGENT SEVEN SEAS CRUISES

Regent Seven Seas Cruises releases a new ship every few years that is so luxurious that it verges on the ridiculous.

One of the most expensive cruise vessels ever built with all sorts of over-the-top luxuries will be Regent's sister vessel.

You can expect Picassos on the walls and soaring ceilings.

Seven Seas Grandeur has two choices when it comes to cabins. There will be suites in every room on the ship. It's not too shabby for the smallest accommodations to be over 300 square feet. A lot of cabins will be bigger.

There is a new ship inside Regent.

The Regent Suite will measure 4,443 square feet and is nearly twice the size of the average American home. It will cost thousands of dollars a night.

All of the restaurants included in the fare will be elegant and high-end.

It's what you would expect from Regent. Some of the world's most elegant ships have been operated by the 30 year old brand. Regent is the cruising equivalent of the hotel world's Four Seasons chain.

Seven Seas Grandeur will operate Caribbean sailings out of Miami for the winter before returning to Europe in the summer of 2024. A seven-night Caribbean sailing out of Miami starts at $4,439 per person.

Celebrity Ascent

The voyage took place on December 3.

Celebrity Ascent will be a sister to the recently unveiled Celebrity Beyond. STEVE DUNLOP/CELEBRITY CRUISES

Celebrity Cruises will unveil Celebrity Ascent, the fourth ship in the series, in 2023.

The Celebrity Beyond is a stretched version of the two initial ships in the series, being 20 meters longer and a deck taller.

As was the case with Celebrity Beyond, the extra length and height will allow for new and bigger venues, including an expanded "resort-within-a-resort" area for suite passengers called The Retreat.

Celebrity Ascent will have a new rooftop garden area with increased seating, private nooks and floating pools over the side of the ship.

The Grand Plaza will be larger on Celebrity Ascent than on the first two Edge-class ships.

There is a guide to Celebrity ships.

Celebrity Beyond had more cabins than its sister vessels, each of which had over 1,500 cabins. It is a 12% increase. Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Beyond will hold more than 3000 passengers at the same time. The Celebrity Edge has a capacity of 2,918 passengers and the Celebrity Apex has a capacity of 2,910 passengers.

After sailing out of Fort Lauderdale, Celebrity Ascent will head to the Caribbean. For a seven-night sailing, the cost is $1,056 per person.

Other new ships

In addition to the above, newcomers for 2023 include several small expedition ships and other small vessels from various cruise operators.

The new ocean ship is a sister to previous vessels.
