Do you know how much weight the Cybertruck can pull? According to the vehicle's official website, the answer is near infinite.
"Cybertruck can perform in almost any extreme situation with ease," reads the full description, which has been up for several years.
We understand what "near infinite mass" means. It's nonsense marketing language that doesn't mean anything, even though "near infinite" suggests that there is a limit to what can be done.
The joke is in the ludicrously vague spec.
One befuddled user mused, "this company is so un serious."
It's fair to say that the statement gives a reasonable description of how much weight the vehicle can haul, but it confuses netizens since it doesn't say how much it can haul.
The fact that there is a distinction was explained by a few users. Hauling is a better way to evaluate a truck's efficiency as it refers to the vehicle's ability to function properly under normal road speeds and conditions.
If the Cybertruck is moving at one mile per hour over short distances, it could pull a lot more than if it were moving at a slower pace. It's a technicality and doesn't make sense to market expensive motor vehicles on that basis.
The Cybertruck won't be on the road in the immediate future because it hasn't hit the market.
Let's hope that it gets on the road soon so that it can use a hand pulling/towing/hauling/dragging.
