The Morning After: Lenovo made an e-ink tablet to rival Amazon’s Scribe

The belt of PCs doesn't stop. There has been a lot of work done by the company. The YogaBook 9i is a dual screen yoga book. The thing unfurls a screen atop another with a keyboard at the bottom. Thankfully, there is a kickstand to make sure the displays stay in place. There's a lot of flexibility here. You can have the screens unfold like a book, stacked atop each other or as a classic laptop, with the lower screen showing the keyboard.

The $400 Smart Paper tablets are also available. There is a screen to write on and a battery-less stylus in the case. Nine pen settings and over 4,000 pressure sensitivity levels are included to make sure your sketches come out as you intended. Amazon has a version of its Smart Paper that can be used to find what you're looking for, but it doesn't have the ability to convert your handwriting into text. The library of Amazon books will not be used to write notes on.

You wanted a different twist. The ThinkBook Plus is a device that can be used to switch between e-ink andOLED screens. It is a little of both. Here, you can check out our full impressions. We'll be back on Monday with more coverage of the show.

The Always Home Cam appeared at CES 2023.

Ring showed off a concept home drones back in 2020. It is close to patrolling the homes of anxious people. When you're not there, the mini drones look for invaders. The entire device looks like a kitchen appliance. You can train the Always Home cam by holding it, walking around your home in flight paths, and not expecting it to sneak up on anyone. Multiple paths and waypoints are available. Ring has yet to announce a release date or price.

Stellantis reveals its Ram 1500 EV concept truck

The concept will serve as a design template for upcoming production vehicles.

A concept of an electric Ram truck has been released. The company with a stable of more than a dozen North American and European brands, including Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Maserati and Fiat, has ambitious goals to make 100 percent of its European sales electric. The system will have an 800V architecture that will allow it to add up to 100 miles of range in about 10 minutes.

Goodyear shows off 90 percent sustainable tires at CES 2023

The prototypes have reportedly passed Department of Transportation testing.

The sustainable tire prototype is 20 percent better than last year. The 90-percent blend was approved for road use by the Department of transportation. The company's reference tires have better gas mileage and EV ranges than the 90 percent tires.

The company plans to have a fully sustainable blend by the year 2030. Four types of carbon black made of both organic and inorganic sources are included.
