At its special launch event, EcoFlow launched a whole- home backup power solution. Both the portable battery-powered air conditioning unit and the battery-powered fridge make sense. I think preppers will have beautiful lawns even as the apocalypse looms.

At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, there is a hidden plan to release full-house battery backup power solutions to go with its more portable battery backup systems, and its RV focused solutions. It will be interesting to see what the battery backup powerhouse comes up with later in the year.

Power backup

EcoFlow's Whole- home backup power solution is designed to keep a house running without generators. Depending on a user's needs, the kit can be scaled in three different ways. The Delta Pro portable power station is the center of the solution.

The Whole- home backup power solution and new smart devices will be on display. EcoFlow's Head of Business Development, Brian Essenmacher, said that recent years have seen electricity bills rise and extreme weather create an ever more unstable energy situation. EcoFlow is helping users to make the most of life, whether that is by saving users time and money to devote to the things that matter most to them, or by making life more enjoyable at home, outside and in.

A 7,200W output is achieved by the Advanced Kit connecting two Delta Pro units. It should be enough to power a lot of devices in the house. The company says you can keep an average home running for about a week if you take it easy on the power consumption. If you want to keep the party going for even longer, you can use a generator powered by a propane tank or old fashioned gasoline.

For a portable, battery-powered unit, the EcoFlow Wave 2 is a welcome breath of fresh (or hot) air. It can run for up to 8 hours on a charge with the add-on battery, and is portable at 34 lbs.

The heating/cooling unit is comparable to an entry level window AC unit. Assuming the RV is well insulated, it is enough to cool or heat a room.

Eco Flow has you covered if you can't enjoy it with an ice-cold margarita. The company says it can make 18 ice cubes in four hours. The fridge can run for 24 hours on a single charge, and you can also use a solar panel to charge it.

The fridge has a 297Wh battery built in, and features a bunch of power saving features to stretch the cooling powers even further

EcoFlow has focused on disaster response and power cuts, with a side of 'hey you want to live out of an RV, we have power stations for that' Automatic leaf collection is one of the neat features of the lawnmower.

According to the company, the device has advanced route planning and virtual boundary planning, obstacle climbing and avoidance, and theft protection. The device has a built-in 4G modem so it can roam around outside of the range of a wi-fi device.

Pricing for the products won't be set until April.
