According to a report from the Associated Press, the game between the Buffalo Bills and CincinnatiBengals will not be resumed.

Two people who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the league is still figuring out how to determine playoff seedings and scheduling, were cited in the report. Changes need to be approved by the players association.

With the regular season ending on Sunday, it was clear that it would be difficult to wedge the resumed game into the schedule.

The most prudent choice was to wipe it from the slate, as the league has gone through many permutations of what could have been.

The league will have to decide how to seed the teams in the playoffs because the Bills and Cincinnati will have played less games than the other teams.

Winning percentage will be the determining factor in whatever format the league chooses.

The story will be updated soon.
