The suspect in the shooting deaths of seven family members was identified as Michael Haight, who took his own life, according to city officials.
According to Roy Dotson, Haight killed his wife, mother-in-law and five children before taking his own life.
The victims were identified as Haight's 40-year-old wife, Tausha, her 78-year-old mother, Gail Earl, and the couple's five children, ranging in age from 4 to 17 years old.
According to Dotson, Haight killed his family because of the divorce filing.
James Park told the Associated Press that he didn't fear for his client's safety in the divorce case.
