The Buffalo Bills gave an update on Hamlin on Thursday.
The team said that Hamlin has shown improvement over the past 24 hours. He seems to be neurologically intact even though he is critically ill. His lungs are healing and he is getting better.
Kaiir Elam and Ian Rapoport of the network added more optimism.

Hamlin was still in critical condition but had shown signs of improvement, according to an update from the Bills.
Hamlin collapsed after making a tackle during the game. He needed to have his heartbeat restored on the field before he was taken to the hospital.
He was protected from view by the players from both the Bills and theBengals.
The game was stopped and then called off.

"Seeing the way he handled his team just deepened that respect for him and verified everything I always thought he was about as a man," said Taylor when discussing Buffalo's handling of the situation and desire to go to the hospital with Hamlin instead of finishing the game.
There hasn't been a decision from the league regarding whether the game will be played again or not.
No longer have a path to the No. 1 seed in the playoffs for the Bengal's if they finish in the top half of the division. If they win against the Ravens and the Bills lose to the Pats, they'll get the second seed.
If the Buffalo Bills win and the Kansas City Chiefs lose to the Las Vegas Raiders, Buffalo will be the top seed in the playoffs.
