Jake Paul is going to join the Professional Fighters League.

He signed an MMA contract with the PFL. According to Donn Davis, the deal is a multifight, multiyear one.

Paul is a professional boxer with a perfect record. His most high-profile fights have been against MMA fighters. Paul has teased a transition to MMA in the past, but is expected to continue his boxing career.

Paul said he was going to do the same thing in MMA as he did in the boxing ring. There is no limit to what I can do for the sport. I plan to enter the PFL SmartCage in order to show the world that hard work and dedication can lead to great things.

There is no time frame for Paul's MMA debut, but he told The New York Times that he wants to face MMA superstarNateDiaz this year, first in a boxing match then in a MMA fight with PFL The combat sports free agent fought out his UFC contract for the first time in seven years.

It could take a full year for Paul to make his MMA debut, but Davis said it will be a serious venture.

Jake is interesting to fans because he works hard and doesn't underestimate what it takes. He's starting to train, even though he's not ready for his MMA debut. He's going to take on his first opponent early in the year of 2024. The type of opponents he is thinking of will shock the world.

The pay-per-view Super Fight Division is separate from the regular-season rosters. In November, the PFL held its first pay-per-view event, and plans to hold two more in the years to come. The events are expected to be broadcasted in the US and abroad.

Fighters signed to the Super Fight Division will appear on the events with 50% of the revenue going to the promotion.

Paul has accepted the position of head of fighter advocacy at the PFL, which will allow him to promote the series' athletes and assist in recruitment. According to a news release, Paul and his business partner have been made minority equity owners.

"As Head of Fighter Advocacy, I will consistently promote PFL fighters and I invite all top MMA fighters, both men and women, to join the PFL and get a pay day they've never had before." Paul spoke.

Paul broke into combat sports in 2020 as a novelty act but has steadily improved his skills and level of competition. Silva, Woodley and Ben Askren were all considered past their prime but had more combat sports experience. In October, Paul defeated Silva.

He has advocated for fighters' rights in both boxing and MMA. He had disagreements with Dana White about his in-ring accomplishments.
