There is a fancy concept car that can change color.

The BMW i Vision Dee is a concept car that allows drivers to modify their vehicle digitally. It's a mid-size sedan with an exterior that uses E Ink to quickly switch between or combine 32 colors, and will be available in BMW's Neue Klasse EV models from the year 2020.

The iX Flow, a vehicle that can change from black to white using E Ink, was unveiled by BMW at the Consumer Electronics Show. The new i Vision Dee is BMW's first full-colour deployment of E Ink tech on the outside of its cars, and drivers can use up to 32 shades on the body surface, which is divvied up into 480 individually controlled segments.

The updated Head-Up Display for the i Vision Dee is a high tech, mixed reality panel that sits across the entire vehicle. We don't know what this means, but drivers can access driving info, communications, augmented reality, and virtual worlds on their vehicles. The car has dimmable windows.

The i Vision Dee's headlights and grille have digital elements embedded in the physical, meaning the vehicle is able to make facial expressions and express moods. If you're into that, the vehicle can project the driver'savatar onto the side window.

Sony was also fortunate to have a vehicle at the show.
