The world's first full-featured Thunderbolt dock with a built-in power supply has been announced. It is possible to use the dock with MacBook Pro models that are newer than 14 inches.
There is a separate power supply for the docks that are powered by a Mac or other device. OWC's new dock has a built-in power supply and a lot of other ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports and two USB-C ports. The dock has a cord and no brick.
The dock is compatible with a wide range of other Apple devices, including the MacBook Air, iPad Pro, iPad Air, and more, and can provide up to 90W of pass through charging to a connected MacBook Pro. It is possible to use the dock with other Windows PCs.
