Travel counsellor makes £100k worth of Celebrity Cruises bookings in 24 hours

Over the course of a single day, a travel counsellor secured more than $100,000 in Celebrity Cruises bookings.

A number of customers were booked on Celebrity Beyond and Celebrity Apex for the year 2024.

Celebrity Cruises opened pre- registration on November 1, allowing agents to line up booking when it opens for sale on November 15. As the programme went on sale, the line achieved a record amount of bookings.

Celebrity Cruises reported the biggest ever booking day.

The customers were very pleased, especially the new ones. I had gotten up early.

Customers wanted corner suites at the back of the ship, so I put them there. In the middle of the night, travel counselors check in people.

Hyatt said she has achieved her best year in terms of turnover. She said she usually has a turnover of around four million dollars.

Hyatt will have to wait until autumn 2024 to receive her commission for the bookings, but she has received £250 from Celebrity Beyond sales.

Any Celebrity booking between November 1 and December 5 will get agents up to £50 of Celebrity rewards.

She said she spent the bonus on gifts for her three children. It was a nice bonus.

I have to wait until they have sailed to get the commission since the booking was for September and October.
