Profet is a Taiwanese startup that makes machine learning software for manufacturers. The round was led by a private equity firm. Hive Venture, AUO, and SVTI were among the returning investors.
Profet AI doubled its revenue in the year after it was founded. Profet will use the funding to expand in Japan, Southeast Asia and China with plans to sign joint ventures.
Even if they only have a basic knowledge of machine learning, users can use Profet's software to build prediction models.
The company has two main products, the AutoML Virtual Data Scientist Platform and Ready to Go Applications. They are supposed to be used by clients in the manufacturing industries.
The Ready To Go Applications are industry-specific artificial intelligence applications that are ready to be used in public cloud or on-premise environments.

Darwin is very optimistic about Profet AI's strengths and will leverage his background in the Semiconductor and Electronics industry to assist Profet AI's market development.
