Lucas Paqueta scores a penalty
Lucas Paqueta's leveller was his first goal for West Ham

The match at Elland Road ended in a 2-2 draw as West ham remained in the bottom half of the table.

Teenage forward Wilfried Gnonto had put the hosts ahead when he thrashed the ball home after 27 minutes, only for Lucas Paqueta to level with a well-taken penalty after the video assistant referee had intervention.

Just 45 seconds into the second-half, Gianluca scamacca scored his first-ever goal for the Hammers, giving them the lead.

A Jack Harrison pass led to a low shot by Rodrigo.

After Jesse Marsch was booked for applauding the award of a throw for his team, substitute Michail Antonio and keeper Lukasz Fabianski saved the visiting team from defeat.

Antonio failed to turn Lanzini's cross into a goal after clearing Liam Cooper's head off the line.

Then, with virtually the last touch, Fabianski produced a brilliant one-handed save.

There's more to come.
