According to Chris Low, Texas A&M's football head coach Jimbo Fisher is going to hire UNLV's Bobby Petrino to be the team's play-caller.

He was the head coach of Missouri State for three years. The Bears made the NCAA tournament in two of the last three years.

According to Low and Adam Rittenberg, Petrino agreed to become UNLV's offensive coach after the 2020 season.

Plans have changed. He served as Arkansas' head coach from 2008-2011.

This is not the first time that Petrino has left his job.

He signed a 10-year, $25.6 million contract to stay with Louisville.

He became the Atlanta Falcons' head coach after leading the Cards to a 12-1 record and an Orange Bowl victory.

It lasted just 13 games. He left town for the University of Arkansas after the season started.

He went 34-17 over four seasons in college. The Cotton Bowl victory was one of the highlights of the 11-2 record.

On April 10, Petrino was terminated.

Harrison spoke to the News-Leader.

There was a motorcycle crash in northwest Arkansas on April 1, 2012

"Petrino initially told university officials he was alone on the motorcycle, but it eventually came out that he had a passenger who was 25 years old at the time."

The former Arkansas volleyball player was hired to work in the athletics department by Petrino after he had an affair with her. He didn't reveal his relationship with university officials.

The head coach at Western Kentucky was Bobby Petrino, who led the team to an 8-4 record. He went to Louisville for a second time. After winning eight or nine games in each of his first four seasons, the Cards went winless in his final season. After taking a year off, he joined Missouri State.

He is joining a team that struggled through a disappointing campaign last year despite being ranked 6th in the AP poll. After a six-game losing streak, the team won two of their last three games.

The team finished the year with an average of 101 points per game.
