There is a shared ride service for people with disabilities in Boston's public transportation model. NBC News reported that the city is considering the idea of free public buses.

According to The Boston Herald, the city is getting $66 million in federal funding to update one of its subway stations, even though riders of theMBTA have complained about chronic delays.
