Messi played 520 times in LaLiga for Barcelona, making more appearances in the Spanish topflight than in any other competition and scoring 474 goals. He racked up 10 winner's medals in 17 seasons at Camp Nou, more than any other player. In July of last year, Messi received his second club honour with Paris Saint-Germain, as they trounced Nantes in Tel-Aviv by a score of four goals.
The title is "coup de France".
The one that got away for Messi was the French one. His only appearance in the competition was in January 2022, when Paris Saint-Germain were knocked out of the competition by Nice. The game ended goalless in regulation time and was decided by penalties, with Les Aiglons winning 5-5 in the shootout. It was Messi who scored the spot kick.
