The status challenge promotion has been offered by the hotel loyalty program. hilton is one of the most generous loyalty programs when it comes to giving out status, whether it's through a credit card or through a status challenge

I wanted to talk about the status challenge policy for the year. You can get status through March 2024 if you stay a certain number of nights.

Hilton Honors status challenge basics

If you stay a certain number of nights within 90 days, you can keep your gold or diamond status.

You will be matched to Gold for a period of 90 days, and then you can maintain your status based on the number of nights you stay.

  • Stay seven nights within your 90 day trial period and you’ll keep Gold status through March 31, 2024
  • Stay 12 nights within your 90 day trial period and you’ll be upgraded to Diamond status through March 31, 2024

Status will be valid for 15 months if you apply for a match now. The status will likely be valid through March 31, 2025. We don't know when that will change

In a calendar year, earning 40 elite nights in a gold status is normally required, while 60 elite nights in a diamond status is usually required. The match is pretty generous because you have a quarter of the ordinary qualification period to make up for the rest of the elite nights.

How to request a Hilton Honors status challenge

To request a status challenge, you have to fill out an online form with some basic information, along with the status that you want to match.

You have to show proof of your status as well as proof of a stay with a competing hotel chain in the past year in order to be matched.

It is fine if you earned that status through a credit card. If you've stayed at least one night at an IHG property in the last year, you can use your IHG One Rewards Platinum status to start aHiltonHonors status challenge.

You can earn up to 4,500 bonus points after completing two stays if you sign up for the promotion. You need to take advantage of the global promotion of the hotel.
