A new lineup of addressable smart lighting and some new tech aims to provide a more realistic viewing experience for your TV. The 4D TV smarter kit includes a series of light strips that reflect the colors on your TV with the aid of a small camera.
The TV lighting kit is one of the new products that the company is showing off at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show. The sizes of the 4D Kit will be 55 to 65 inches and 70 to 80 inches. The small camera that is included in the 4D Kit is something that distinguishes it from other light strips.
You can point the camera at your TV screen or mount it above it. The camera connects to a small hub that links to the light strips and has buttons to designate the lighting reference as the screen or music play, as well as the ability to cycle through existing themes or shut it off entirely.
The Govee system has a camera that can be used on your TV or computer monitor. There are software suites that are compatible with smart lighting and can be used with a camera. The box that sits between your media and lights is an expensive solution.
The 4D lighting kit has some extra features that are not offered by its competitors. Thanks to a new software feature called Sync Plus, you can sync up your existing lights to what the camera sees. The 4D Camera Kit will be the only way to get this new feature if you already own a bunch of other Nanoleaf lighting. You will need the camera to use screen mirroring with Sync Plus, but it will be available to other products.
The 4D TV smarter kit will be available in the summer of 2023. There is currently no information on how much the camera will cost.
