Zion will be out of action for at least three weeks after he was injured. After that time period, he will be reexamined.

The 22-year-old has thrived this season with 26.0 points on 60.8 percent shooting, 7.0 rebound and 4.6 assists for the third-ranked team in the Western Conference

Despite the injuries that have robbed them of time, New Orleans looks like a legitimate Western Conference contender.

Brandon has been out with a toe injury. Herbert Jones has missed time because of injuries, including a right knee hyperextension.

A hip contusion, a right foot contusion, and health and safety protocols have kept him out of action.

He averaged 31.3 points over the course of four games after returning to the court. He left his team's loss to the 76ers with a injury.

Andrew Lopez spoke about it.

As soon as he crossed the half-court line, Williamson pulled up and dribbled to the left corner. Dyson Daniels got the ball from him while he grabbed at his leg.

After a missed shot, a foul was called on Philadelphia's Tyrese Maxey on a fast-break layup and New Orleans center Jonas Valanciunas left the game. He wouldn't come back in the fourth.

He has been out for a while. He was held to 24 games that year after he tore his knee in the preseason. He missed the campaign with a JonesFracture.

After arriving in the NBA out of Duke as one of the more highly regarded prospects in recent memory, Zion has been as advertised and even more so.

During his All-Star 2020-21 season, he averaged 28.0 points on 61.2 percent shooting, 7.2 rebound and 3.7 assists.

For now, the Pels will go on without him, so more time should be given to Jaxson.

During the 76ers game, the 22-year-old big man was replaced in the lineup by another player. In 13.0 minutes per game, he has averaged over five points and two assists.
