An online fundraiser set up by Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has made more than three million dollars in the wake of the player's cardiac arrest during Monday Night Football.
Hamlin collapsed on the field at the start of the game. Hamlin is currently in critical condition at a hospital after his heartbeat was restored on the field.
Hamlin established the Chasing M's Foundation in 2020 to raise money for toys for children in his hometown of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania.

As of 9 a.m., the goal was $2,500. Donations totaled $3.4 million on Tuesday.
Hamlin started the page in 2020 after he was drafted by the Bills in the sixth round in 2021.
Hamlin said he would never forget where he came from and would use his platform to positively impact the community that raised him.
Hamlin's charity page had raised more than $2,500 before Monday night.
Many of the people who donated included a message to Hamlin and his family.
The game was stopped with 5:58 left in the first quarter.
