Beloved "Hawkeye" star Jeremy Renner is in critical condition, but stable, following a snowplow accident in Nevada on New Year's Day.
The 51-year-old actor is currently in the process of recovering after surgery for injuries he sustained in the snowplow incident on the first day of 2023.
He is in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition after returning from surgery.
In the days leading up to his accident, Renner posted on social media about dealing with snowy conditions in Lake Tahoe. It's not clear if the plow that was involved in the accident is the one that he posted multiple shots of on his social media accounts.
In a rapidly developing critical care environment, it's possible that Renner's doctors don't know if he's going to live or die.

Ken Block, the co- founder of DC Shoes, died in a snowmobile accident in Utah on January 2nd. Block was 55 years old and had three children, including a 16-year-old who is also a competitive driver.
He posted about the snowy conditions at his home in Utah before he died.

Public health experts have known about the dangers of winter weather for years, from the risk of ice slips to the link between shoveling snow and heart attacks. You have one hell of a winter cocktail with the bad road conditions created by the weather.
