Have you ever wanted to take the spa with you? You can now. Kohler unveiled a new shower system at the Consumer Electronics Show that will add a spa-like experience to your daily showers.
Kohler has a device that can be attached to any shower head and Sprig Shower Pods. Kohler's Sprig Shower Pods use a combination of scent and ingredients that are good for the skin, like lavender, as well as ingredients that are supposed to be good for the body. Kohler says the Pods are safe to use on the whole body and should run for a while.
Only Kohler Sprig Shower Pods can be inserted into the device's holder, which is Kohler specific. The price for a six-pack of single-use Pods is $21, while the price for a single multi-use Pod is $24.
The shower infused system will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2023.
Kohler is not the only one who thinks shower infusions could be the next big thing. The shower tech startup Hai is launching a product called "Fuse", which can be attached to any shower head and infused with scent and vitamins. The attachment is less expensive than Kohler's, and will be available on January 25th. The shower system usesfusion tablets instead ofpods.
The tablets come in a variety of smells, including lavender and mandarin. The price is $26 for a 16-pack or $20 a month.
