Ken Block was killed in a snowmobile accident on Monday according to a statement posted by his racing team. He was older than 50.

According to the officials in Utah, Block was riding a snowmobile on a steep slope when the vehicle turned over and fell on him.

Block became interested in rally racing after selling his company. In 2005, he was named the winner of the rally America Championship.
The Gymkhana series of videos was where Block would drive cars at high speeds around set courses in the middle of major cities. Gymkhana is a style of car racing where drivers try to complete a course in as little time as possible.
A video featuring Block driving through the streets of San Francisco has had more than 100 million views.
In a statement posted on social media, the American Rally Association said that Block was a huge influence on everything he did.
