The out-of-warranty battery service fee will be increased by $20 for the following iPad models.
The price hike for Macs is much larger. The out-of-warranty battery service fee will be in effect until the end of February. The out-of-warranty battery service fee will be increased by $50 for all MacBook and MacBook Pro models.
There appears to be no price hike on battery replacements for Apple Watches or Apple TV remotes. It's highly probable that a price hike will happen in March, as Apple's self-service repair store does not currently mention it.
If you own an Apple device with a degraded battery you should request a replacement before March. You can get a battery replacement for free if your product's battery holds less than 80 percent of its original capacity, but only if you have Apple Care+.
