Samsung's 2023 QD-OLED TVs will hit up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness

The QD-OLED TV lineup was launched last year at the Consumer Electronics Show. It was only slightly brighter back then, and yesterday, it was revealed that it will have up to 70% more brightness and peak levels.

If accurate, the 2023 QD-OLED TV lineup will hit up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, which would make it close to Mini-LED TVs. That's thanks to a new QD-OLED Panel from SAMSUNG DISPLAY, which uses a new "HyperEfficient EL" OLED material and SAMSUNG's Intelli Sense Artificial Intelligence The TVs will be more energy efficient.
