It is time to match back from Caesars to Wyndham if you have no status at all. My status was immediately changed to Diamond after I did this match myself.

The Caesar’s/Wyndham Match is back!

The Wyndham status calendar has re-set

The status year calendar is on the calendar year. If you didn't requalify for Diamond status before the first of the year, you'd lose your status on the first day of the year.

It happened to me. Since I didn't requalify last year, I lost my Wyndham Diamond status.

I could open a business card to keep my Diamond status, but I haven't done that yet, so my status was returned to the baseline.

Caesars status year runs through January 31st

Status does not change until February 1st, after the qualification period has ended. If you didn't requalify for status last year, you'll lose your elite status on February 1st.

The current Diamond status is reflected in my Caesars account.

Match status from Caesars to Wyndham now

It's time to match your status if you find yourself in the same situation.

You can match your status to the rewards program of your choice.

Click the button that says "I'm a Caesars rewards member, match my status" Enter your Caesars number and birthdate when you log in to the rewards program.

I received a notification that my status had been changed to Diamond after I submitted my information. For now, the match-go-round continues.

Will the status match-go-round finally end?

When the status of Caesars Diamond is updated in February, will it be possible for those who did not requalify to use their Diamond status again?

Last year, Caesars took their sweet time matching and then granted status matches and then took Diamond status away because they didn't want to match people who had come from a match The match was granted after they backpedaled on the idea that it would be the last time they would allow people with matched status to match back to Caesars. Many people were thankful that Caesars gave the match since it meant a lot of free cruising for some.

When status goes down in February, will the match-back work again? How this will work in practice will be determined by time. You have to be in it to win it, that is what I have said in the past. You don't swing at any of the balls. I'm going to take another shot at Caesars Diamond. If it doesn't work, I'll probably open my own business card, but I'll hold off on that until I know if I can pull it off.

Bottom line

You may as well match statuses if you don't have a Wyndham Diamond status. We don't know when the status match-go-round will run out of steam. Since there isn't any reason to wait, I would recommend matching from Caesars to Wyndham sooner. I would rather have the diamond than not.
