Jake DeBrusk's second goal wins Winter Classic for Bruins (0:26)

In front of 39,243 fans, the Boston Bruins defeated the PittsburghPenguins in the Winter Classic.

Jake DeBrusk scored two third-period goals, the second of which was the game-winner.

The game was tied at 12:14 in the third quarter. After a Pittsburgh penalty expired, Brad Marchand found DeBrusk on the side of the net and he beat De Smith with a wraparound.

Taylor Hall made a great stickhandling move to the net that led to DeBrusk's game winning goal. The puck was knocked in on the rebound by DeBrusk.

He is a big goal scorer. He has been with the Bruins for over a decade. The puck sometimes finds him when he plays with that confidence. He was responsible for it happening.

The puck crossed the line after the final buzzer when the Pens were close to tying the game. Ullmark raised his arms in the air as the Bruins surrounded him, while Pittsburgh's players were on the bench waiting for the no- goal to be confirmed.

There was a replica baseball diamond hockey rink built in between the Green Monster and the field of play. The Bruins and Penguins players stood on the "baselines" of that rink for a ceremonial "first pitch" before the game.

It was difficult not to get caught up in the moment, as a Massachusetts native who attended the game as a Bruins fan.

He said that you don't grow up thinking that you're going to play hockey in Boston. We're glad we took advantage of the opportunity to play hockey in there.

Both teams arrived at the Classic dressed to the nines. The Bruins wore retro uniforms while the Pens wore Pittsburgh Pirates gear in honor of the game being at Boston'sFenway.

Sullivan said that it gave the team a chance to tip their caps to the great teams that have played in the stadium.
