The new 77-inch version of the QD-OLED panel technology will be shown at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show. I expect to learn more about a 77-inch QD-OLED TV from the early days of the show, but it's too early to tell.
The first glimpse of the QD-OLED panel technology was given to us at the Consumer Electronics Show. It was the best picture I had ever seen.
QD-OLED panels have been released as consumer products by a number of companies. Digital Trends reviewers hailed each of those products as the best in class. QD-OLED screens are a treat for the eyes because of their black levels and bright colors.
Consumers complained about limited screen-size options. Until the new TV type was available in a larger size, many TV enthusiasts were hesitant to invest in it. It looks like a 77-inch QD-OLED TV is on the way. That is not a sure thing.
I was told that the QD-OLED panel would be in a consumer TV in 2022, but they couldn't be sure. The formal announcement of the S95B TV's existence was made a few weeks later, but my understanding is that there was some internal discussion about when that TV would be brought to market.
Sony would have made a TV out of it if it hadn't been made by SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS. There is a new 77-inch option here.

A 49-inch Ultrawide QD-OLED panel that is destined to be a computer monitor was mentioned in the same press release as well. A new hybrid QD-OLED display, a slideable display, and a digital cockpit are some of the products mentioned. We will bring you up to date with all of these products as we continue our coverage of the show.
All signs point to a 77-inch QD-OLED TV hitting the market in three years.
