The game between Buffalo and Cincinnati was suspended due to Hamlin being taken off the field in an ambulance.

Hamlin collapsed on the field after a play in the first quarter and was given cardiopulmonary assist for a period of time. He was put in the ambulance and taken off the field after he collapsed.

The injury happened after Hamlin tackled the wide receiver. Trainers came to help him after he suddenly collapsed. Trainers protected his head as he was taken to the field.

Hamlin was surrounded by the entire Bills sideline as he received medical attention. Multiple Bills players were comforting each other while he was in distress. The people had to turn their backs so as not to watch Hamlin in distress.

Hamlin was put into an ambulance after the first attempt to move him failed and he was brought back onto the field. There is an hour and a half later. The Hamlin family came down from the stands to be with him.

The Bills players knelt together in a circle and then returned to the sideline after Hamlin left the field. Everyone was called over for a word.

However, instead of restarting the game, Taylor walked over to the Bills counterpart and met with the game officials. The decision was made to stop the game 21 minutes after the injury occurred.
