Josh Gordon will play football in the XFL.
He was picked in the sixth round of the supplemental draft by the Seattle Sea Dragons.
He was released from the practice squad of the TennesseeTitans in October after playing in two games for the team.
Gordon had a great start to his career with the ClevelandBrowns. He was selected to the All-Pro team after leading the league in receiving yards (1,646) as a second-year player.
The National Football League suspended Gordon for violating its substance-abuse policy for the second time. His 2015 season was wiped out by another violation, and he stepped away from the team when he was on the verge of being restored.
Gordon missed two full years but still got multiple opportunities. He averaged 18.2 yards per catch over the course of the last two years.
Gordon is likely to get one more chance in the league. His time with the Kansas City Chiefs ended with him recording five catches for 32 yards and one touchdown.
