Ahead of its official CES 2023 presentation, LG has given us a taste of its TV tech for the coming year, especially as it relates to the company’s lineup of OLED TVs. Once again, the G Series takes center stage, with the G3 OLED evo 4K. LG says that thanks to its Brightness Booster Max technology, the 55-, 65-, and 75-inch G3 models will see an increase in brightness by up to 70%.

Wall-mounted, the G3 will look better. A gap between the wall and the G3 will be left by the One Wall Design approach. It was already tight to the wall when wall-mounted, so that says a lot.

The G3 isn't the only one. It will be the first time that an 8K-capableOLED TV will be equipped with a panel made by the company.

The 6th-gen a9 artificial intelligence processor is one of the improvements that the G3 has. This is the chip that powers features like Artificial Intelligence Picture Pro, which is said to have better upscaling, enhanced dynamic tone mapping, and more realistic looking objects.

The TV's built-in speakers can now deliver a 9.1.2 surround sound experience thanks to the power of it.

The company's recently announced 2023 soundbars, the SC9 and SE6, are designed to work with the new 2023 TVs. The models will allow the TV to send sound through its own speakers as well as the soundbar for a more realistic performance. If you don't want to send a video signal from the soundbar to the TV, the new ones can be used without a cable box.

HDMI 2.1a will be supported by the TVs in the future. A new feature called Quick Media Switching (QMS) is enabled by the very latest HDMI specification. It's benefits are appreciated by anyone who switches between different media types with different frame rates.

If you have ever encountered a second or two of black screen after pressing play on a video, you know how hard it is to switch between two different frame rates. The black screen problem can be solved by using a TV's variable refresh rate, a feature normally only used when gaming. When using an external device that is also equipped with QMS-VR, it will work.

The webOS smart TV software is going to be upgraded in 2023. A new home screen layout uses small panels that group content and services by logical categories. Each family member gets their own profile and a list of content choices and recommendations based on viewing history, search queries, and viewing habits.

We will let you know as soon as we find out about the pricing, availability, and screen sizes for the TV lineup.
