The death toll from an attack on a state prison in Ciudad Juarez, across the border from El Paso, Texas, has been raised to 17 by Mexican authorities.

There were 25 inmates who escaped.

The Security Secretary said that 10 of the dead were prison guards who were 888-609- 888-609- 888-609- 888-609- 888-609-

The inmates who escaped were associated with the Caborca Cartel, according to Rodrguez. The leader of the Mexicles was one of the fugitives. The Mexicles have been one of Juarez's main gangs for decades and were known to work with the Sinaloa Cartel for a long time.

The leader of the Caborca Cartel was captured in July.

The soldiers and state police who took control of the prison found 10 "VIP" cells with TVs and other comforts, according to the defense secretary. A person had a safe with cash.

There were drugs inside the prison.

The attack on the prison was likely a diversion from the attack on the police officers. The 17 people who died were made up of 10 guards and seven inmates.

The streets of Juarez were ravaged by violence in August that left 11 people dead.

Two inmates were killed inside the prison and gang members began shooting up the town, killing four employees of a radio station who were doing a promotion at a restaurant.

In some Mexican prisons, authorities only maintain nominal control, which leads to violence. In places like Juarez, there are places where rival gangs fight each other.
