K-Pop is bringing the hype two days into the new year.

The K-Pop group SuperM dropped a trailer for their return in 2023.

According to Forbes, the group was formed to be what their label, SM Entertainment, called "The Avenger of K-Pop". The hype was justified as SuperM entered the chart at the top of the charts.

The original lineup of SuperM was made up of SHINee singer Taemin, Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, along with Mark from NCT and Lucas and Ten from WayV.

There are two members of the group who enlisted in the military in South Korea in 2021. According to AllKPop, Lucas has been on hiatus from WayV since August of 2021.

Rolling Stone India reported that the announcement was played at a free concert by SM.
