There is a strike involving train drivers.
The one-day strike will cause even fewer services to run, with some operators expected to run very significantly reduced timetables.
The union said it was pushed into action because the train companies had not made an offer.
Six months after we had the courage to ask for a pay rise for train drivers who have not had an increase for nearly four years, we have yet to receive an offer from the train companies which employ us.
The companies could end the dispute by making a serious and sensible pay offer. It's up to them
Daniel Mann said no one wanted to see the strikes happen.
The dispute will only be solved by agreeing reforms to working arrangements that will put the industry on a sustainable footing.
