Following Connecticut's first loss of the season, the AP men's college basketball poll has Purdue as the top ranked team.
The Boilermakers received all but one of the 61 first-place votes in the poll. 3 Kansas each moved up a spot. The fifth place was Arizona.
Since moving to the top spot in December, the Boilermakers have tightened their grip on the top spot.

Charleston (14-1) lost to a ranked team. In it's second game, North Carolina won its 13th game in a row. The preseason favorite to win the conference lost in overtime on Saturday.

New Mexico was ranked in the AP Top 25 for the first time in eight years last week.
The largest crowd at The Pit in seven years watched the Lobos defeat Colorado State on Thursday. The 76-75 win at Wyoming on Saturday was their best start in 50 years.

After its win over the University of Connecticut, the 18th ranked Musketeers jumped four spots in the poll. Only Virginia and Miami moved up two places.
After a 15-point loss to Iowa State, the 19th ranked Bears lost seven places and went from un ranked to 25th. Arkansas lost to LSU 60-57 in their last game.

Missouri is ranked for the first time in 21 years after beating Kentucky.
The 24th-ranked Ohio State returned to the rankings after a two week absence. After three weeks without a ranking, Iowa State is back.
Kentucky dropped out of the rankings after its loss to Missouri. Mississippi State fell out of the top 20.
The state of North Carolina returned to the poll.
After a rocky start to the season, the Tar Heels moved back into the rankings. The Tar Heels dropped out after losing to Pittsburgh.
