Gunjan Patidar, Zomato's chief technology officer, has left the firm, the latest in a series of departures at the Indian food delivery firm.

Patidar is one of the co-founders. Two other senior executives and a co-founder left last month.

The core tech systems for the company were built byatidar, who was one of the first few employees. He nurtured a tech leadership team that is capable of taking on the mantle of leading the tech function in the future. The Indian food delivery firm stated that his contribution to building Zomato has been valuable.

Zomato chief executive Deepinder Goyal is trying to share and delegate top responsibilities with other executives. The company changed its name to "Eternal" in August of last year.

Zomato didn't say why Patidar had left, but it was one of the reasons the company lost money.

The company lost $30.4 million in the third quarter of last year.

Zomato has a lot of co- founders. Earlier this year, it elevated an executive as co-founder of Blinkit to replace a co- founder who left.

The corporate governance team at Zomato has a full-time employee who updates the document that keeps track of who is their co- founder.
