Aaron Donald works out with Rams' Make-A-Wish recipient

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it was not possible for the pair to meet in person. While in high school, he was diagnosed with a cancer. He was declared cancer-free after four months and wanted to meet Donald.

The call with Donald helped the young man through his journey.

"Oh my gosh, he was so scared," James said. He didn't know what to say. I was afraid to talk to him. He was kind of driven by it. It's just more motivation for him to keep learning and growing.

Two years later, the Rams and Make-A-Wish collaborated to bring Frazier to spend a weekend with the team, first getting a workout in at the team facility and then signing a one-day contract with Snead. On Saturday night, he stayed at the hotel and took the bus to the stadium to watch the Rams play the Bolts. He was excited to get to work out with Donald.

Frazier also worked out with Aaron Donald.

It was great to be in the same place as someone I look up to. I didn't know what to say. I was surprised by the workout. I loved it even though he put me through something. I was a big fan of it. I will always remember it.

As soon as Donald arrived, it was time to elevate what I and Kyle were doing.

AD doesn't care if I'm working out with him or not, he's competitive and he doesn't mind if I'm working out with him. One of us is going to lose. It was Kyle. He showed him that there is a different level of how you push yourself to get where you are. It was cool to see people jump in with him.

After going through cancer treatment, he lost a significant amount of weight. He was still going despite it being football. His coach told him that his spot would be waiting for him.

My tears stopped when I heard that. I asked my doctor if my cancer was cured and if I could play football. It was just my goal when I got the word that both of them were yes.

The Rams were warming up on the sideline before the game. He said that he had a strong feeling that he was close to death.

"It's incredible," he said. I'm happy that two great teams are playing.
