Eagles DE Josh Sweat (neck) carted off, taken to hospital

Josh Sweat was carted off the field with a neck injury in the first quarter of the Eagles' game against the Saints.

The man was taken to the hospital for further evaluation. The team says that Sweat has movement in all of his body parts.

Sweat was on the ground for a while as his teammates and coaches watched. He was put on a stretcher and taken to the hospital.

The entire Eagles team poured onto the field in support of Sweat, and members of the Saints encouraged him as well.

The crowd was chanting Sweat's name before he went into the tunnel.

Sweat is having a career year. In the previous five games, he had recorded at least one sack.
