The protocol in the collective bargaining agreement states that the field should not be hard when the game starts.

The union did not raise the issue of postponing or delaying the game according to a league source.

With the arrival of a soccer team that will share the stadium with the panthers, David Tepper decided to install field turf before the 2020 season. He wanted it to be a concert venue.

The surface has been complained about by several players.

The turf may be to blame for injuries.

It's going to take all of us to stop practicing until we get some grass. They make a lot of money off of us. We had grass when we were owned by Jerry Richardson. Don't be silent to your players. We would like grass.

The complaint hasn't been filed yet, so team officials had no comment.
